The 197 is available in slow (4:1) and fast (6:1). The decsion about which one to pick is yours but unless you need for some specific reason the fast one (ie: fishing for fast pelagics) we recomend the 4:1 gear, much more suitable for the majority of the species, especially if you like to jig underarm in short jerks

The 665 is the biggest and more powerful machine of the breed. Is probably the ideal rig for tropical fishing or any kind of heavy duty fishing. The reel is available with two different spool configurations and two different gear ratio. If you're not sure about which one to pick please ask us. Anyway, the N version gives you more line capacity and is just perfect if you jig with the rod in the belt. If you jig with the rod under your arm you might find it a bit more difficult to spool the live evenly but sure enough is not big deal. The NN is great for underarm jigging, has a more limited line capacity thus is a tad lighter, another good advantage.
