G1000:

The G1000 is the most popular and complete series of Lamiglas rods for Salmon and Steelhead. Made of natural graphite, they carry Fuji guides, top quality reel seats and cork grips. We used them with great success all over the spanish coast, the Med, Italy and in freshwater for Pikes, and Catfish. In some areas rods like the 1319 Kenai King has become a  mythical pole for the shore fisherman who chase Bluefish and Leerfish, while the 1311 is the rod of choice for most Sea Bass fisherman. We particulary like the 1342S, is a tad softer than the 1319 but still has plenty of backbone to fight a good Bluefish and at the same time can cast a lighter lure, if needed. The 1344S and 1317 are more serious rods, surely strong enoguh to battle large local predators and medium tropical critters. We believe that they have an excellent value for the money and that they are a good choice for those who don't like to use the surf rods.

Travel Series

We were missing such an important series of rods in this section and we started filling the gap introducing an 8'6" 3 piece medium/light rod. Perfect for non-stop traveller and rod-in-the-trunk maniacs, it does break in less than 90cm and delivers an outstanding quality. Available for spinning reels only at the moment.

Tri-Flex Surf Spinning:

The success of the Triflex Seris is growing and it deserves it. The exclusive Tri-Flex technology is the reason  why. One lightweight graphite base, add a fiberglass overwrap, then a second graphite reinforcement through the butt and mid section. The result is a superior blank with an incredible strenght (and we really mean it) and durability, extremely fast recovery rate, and great casting performances. Components include  Fuji reel seat, Fuji Aluminum Oxide Guides, and cork tape grips. The TS86MS is a sweet rod with a great feeling. Even if it looks small and light can still handle good sized predators like Bluefish, large Sea Bass and Leerfish. The TS9MHS and TS96MHS are more serious rods for the shore fisherman, the 9 footer is a tad sloiwer in action and allows a wider casting range, the 9'6" is a strong rod, period. For a tropical use or heavy surf we have the TS10MHS. if you like to throw heavy irons or large lure is your choice, wherever you fish.

Ron Arra Surf Pro:

Top notch Surf Rods for experienced casters and fishermen. Designed by US five time national distance casting champion Ron Arra (and a good fisherman too), these fast-action surf rods are a lure fisherman's dream producing incredible power, distance and control. 1083-2 is such a nice pole, great feeling and lightweight and amazing casting performance even with the smaller lures. We use it for Sea Bass and usually smaller predators but she can handle a nice Bluefish or Leefish fine. The 1204-2 is a sort of all-terrain rod, capable to cast relatively light lures and handle the largest of the Leerfish from shore. 1321-2 and 1322-2 are the heavy duty team, great performance and incredible power for larger predators and long casting distance. This is not stuff for novice or people who still think that an expensive rod can lift a 10lb fish from the water like a crane, this is the "Ferrari" of the shore fisherman, the ultimate lure caster.

Lamiglas Tropic Pro Jigging Series:

A new series of jigging rods to cover worldwide waters. These blanks have been designed by Lamiglas following my suggestion based on my humble experience in this game. Even though they are manufactured in a factory they very much resemble a custom rod, for the details put in it.

The 50lb (TP5650SJ and TP5650SJA) has been baptized in Ascension Island with medium sized Yellowfin Tunas and Amberjack (in the picture, the rod in action in Costa Rica). From there, the tests followed all over the world and the first prototype is still travelling with me, fighting big fish. It has a soft tip to impart the right action to the jigs, but when it comes to stop a run and lift a large critter, the backbone does it's job and put and end to the battle.  Is the perfect rod for short jerk action. Now available for conventional reels (TP5650CJ) with Fuji palming reel seat.

The 30lb rod (TP5630SJ) is the smaller sister of the 50lb, with the same action but less power. We design this rod to fish the Med and every sea in the world where a medium action rod is required. For the testing we picked area where the fish are nasty and not very polite, she handled them very well. Now available for conventional reels (TP5630CJ) with Fuji palming reel seat.

Both blanks are composite, and we supply two different finish. The less expensive one carry Fuji Aluminum Oxide Guides and SIC tiptop and the "A" with translucent blue blank, carries American Tackle Blue Zirconia Guides and blue Hypalon handle. Both rods have Fuji reel seats, and gimbals with butt cup.

Lamiglas Tropic Pro Popping Series:

The TP7030SP (former NZ7M or Caranx Medium, still in stock) has got into production after a long and suffering (for her) process. We tested it in the Med with "normal" fish like Bluefish and Leerfish, and she did well, then we took her with us in the tropic with medium sized fish and she did well, then  we decided that we wanted to see how far it could go, and she did well again. Now is one of our favourite rod ever. I believe that Lamiglas nailed the blank from  day one: I asked for a medium rod to cast from the boat that wasn't too fast (why do we need a ex-fast rod when fishing in SW anyway?) and that was very robust. I though that the Tri-Flex technology was the way to go and here it is, the (almost) perfect medium spinning rod. To be honest with you I have seen this rod bent on a 30lb Cubera and lifting it from the rocks of Panama, I had landed a 24lb GT with her and a 34lb Guinean Snapper too, and she has already seen a large number of footballer tunas and very large Leerfish (up to 50 pounders), Jack Crevalle, Snappers and so on. Don't believe is the rod to chase GT, in fact is not and you can pay an heavy toll if you try (we didn't designed for this porpouse, we just pushed her to the limit to supply you with the best). Consider it as the ideal weapon for your medium sized tropical critters and for the large surface predators of our home waters. The rod carries Fuji Alconite Concept Guides

We have a newborn in the house, the TP8040SP-C (C stands for cork handle). Is a Medium/Heavy rod that we have designed specifically to fill the gap between the TP7030SP and the TP8650SP. It's main use is to cast a tad farther than it's smaller cousin, load slightly heavier plugs and be more adaptable to a medium tropical use. Is also a Tuna stick, when chasing schoolies in the 20-90lb range fish, and can be used both from shore or boated. I would say is a great rod for Roosterfish, Jacks, Striped Bass, large Bluefish, Tunas, Snappers, Leerfish and alikes. It gives you a nice control over the fish and at the same time allows you to enjoy your fight. It's medium/fast action is great for casting and a pleasure for your back, yet don't think is a mellow rod, it will pop a big mouthed chugger no problem. It carries Fuji Alchonite chrome framed guides, Fuji chromed reel seat and cork handle. In the picture is the first prototype of the rod (with EVA handle and normal Fuji guides) pretty loaded with a 60lb Yellowfin Tuna.

The TP8650SP (former BL8650 or Caranx Heavy) traveled a lot too. We went through 4 protos in almost 3 years before getting to the actual rod, being the 2 I have been given for the tests still intact at home despite of some heavy tug-of-war. One of the few GT fishing rods designed in 2 equal pieces, great for travellers, capable of shooting a 5oz popper with 65lb braid very far away. Up to now she won a lot of battles with GT, Cuberas, Tunas and Groupers all over the world; we believe that is the right rod for beginners who travel the tropic for the first time and for people who want their back and shoulders to stay intact after a day of casting and fighting large fish. She starts loading decently with 2 1/2oz and keeps working great up to 5oz which is as far as we got. We put 26lb of drag on, more than enough for the majority of the critters that inhabit the reefs. Maybe she can go even further but we don't recomend it and most of all we suggest to be careful when fighting a fish, don't keep the rod tip vertical when the animal is too close, we didn't do it and the rods are still serving us good. There's two versions available, the "S" one carries Fuji Aluminum Oxide Guides, SIC tiptop,  and EVA foam handle and the "A" carries American Tackle Blue Zirconia Guides, navy blue blank, guides underwrappings and blue hypalon handle. Both are rigged with gimbal with cup.
