Fighting Strategy For Large Tunas

I'm not talking Cape Cod here, I'm talking 3000ft of water under the hull and large Bluefin, mostly around 200lb. How many chances we have to lash them with a 8'6" rod, or 7'6" for that matter and what would be the best way to handle the fight.

I can guess because I have been there and been beaten hard, but I'd like to know if there's anybody who actually has the formula :o

zero chance, just a lot of luck :rolleyes: in my little knowledges (more of trolling) i think that is more important a big reel full really full of 20lbs and a good skipper
